Has anyone seen Freeman play recently? Despite him maybenot being the tallest, is there a centre-half in him? Pace, comfort on ball and reading the game could go along way.

wee bit disappointed with this, personally i think he's happy to just remain as second choice, i don't feel he's pushing Benji for no.1 and for as good as Benji has been he's untested at top level and cannot save a penalty. Not having strong keepers is a massive issue for me, Zwick and Szromnik spring to mind... Not slagging off Benji here but the competition IMO is weak.

Seemed to be getting linked with Jonny Hayes whose leaving Celtic. At 32 years old maybe not the interest in other clubs you would expect. Would be a decent signing.

Genuinely can't say if the competition is weak or not, as I've hardly seen Mehmet play and don't think Benji merited being dropped for any reason last season. Maybe also a case of GK not being a priority so keep what we have in these trying times financially.
Agree with the penalty issue. Hopefully a couple of decent centre halves next season will halt us giving so many away.
