I agree actually. I always thought there was a player in there but, most recently in the league cup games, he just hasn't shown enough to warrant being selected.

I wouldnt class some sub appearances as chances, certainly not 'plenty'

You've included his loan spell in those figures. its 12 starts and 19 sub appearances since we signed him. Getting a 10 min run oot now and again isnt IMO a chance, and again, definitely not plenty

Exactly. Chalmers and Appere both got chances while Smith was at the club and both took them, Smith didn't.
