Agree with this. He has started well and MM appears to be getting more out of him, but he was a baw hair away from giving away a penalty on Saturday, and as above is capable of at least one brain fart per game. Hope he continues to improve but I feel we cld have held off until near end of the year to consider this extension.

I don't agree that he was close to giving a penalty, he clearly took Nisbet out outside the box and in my opinion that was a conscious decision and anything but a brain fart. He's been nutmegged and Nisbet is clear so what choice does he have? He won't be the only defender to do that this season I'm sure.

I think Connolly knew exactly where he was.
It was great play by Nisbet tbh. Every defender gets done like that occasionally.
