Not me Rab, I agree. Maybe not a nuke though. I would present them with a bill and expect it to be paid. If they don't, and they wont, we do not repay our debt to them, which is huge and will cover the cost.

Not the lives though. This is what happens when ill educated dictators get power. China will be isolated when this is all over, it will cost them everything.

Hello Rab mate, hope you’re well and always nice to hear from you.

I’m more or less in Psaw’s camp here. A first world economic attack on China is more likely to get them where it hurts, starting with the seizure of all their overseas assets. Many countries will be ramping up their own manufacturing capabilities anyway, so cheap imports from the Far East will be much reduced, hitting them in the pocket. Aye, we need to let them know that they’re the pariahs of the world.

Incidentally, we should have been in Scotland this week doing part of the NC 500, the bit to the west, heading up north to about 20 miles east of Tongue, then down to Inverness. I would have been enjoying this fantastic weather. Now we’ll no doubt rebook it sometime when it’s blowing a gale and hurling it down.
