Its ok, no problem,Just read what they write again,''the European Union on Thursday issued a warning,(....saying mind you, just saying, they have to appear and look to be friendly to suit the Arabs etc. ) Further down its written:
''The Palestinians seek all of the West Bank and east Jerusalem as part of an independent state''.Oh how you lot ,to whom it may mean of the E U,are really blind. '' They want all of Israel too!''At some point later ,they would begin a process of unification with all Arab states .They call this the 'Ummah' ( From Morocco to India ,controlled by Arabs and Islam.) And if, in their dreams they have taken Israel, they will certainly will not stop there. But don't worry ,so long as the Arabs are pleased. When the Arab world starts to disintegrate....Libya,Syria,Saudi Arabia (oil low prices ) Lebanon. Just maybe ,if we let the E U 'jump ship'!
But in Israel we just tell them to ''bugger off'', instead of that sweet 'F word.
But what can a crumbling Europe do? Just bark like a 'Jack Russell'?

But yesterday. Netanyahu discusses lifting COVID-19 restrictions with world leaders
The leaders expressed concern regarding the expected second wave of the pandemic outbreak and the fact that the virus is likely to stay with us for a long time.

Attending the video conference were Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Fredriksen, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Netanyahu shared with the leaders with decisions and steps taken in Israel to prevent the epidemic from spreading. The prime minister said that cooperation between the countries must continue to be strong and that knowledge and ideas must be shared and exchanged to combat the spread of the virus.

So read it as 'business as usual''.

Israel's Pluristem secures €50m. EU financing to boost COVID-19 treatment.

Haifa-based Pluristem has secured €50 million ($54m.) in financing from the European Union's European Investment Bank (EI to advance its pioneering regenerative cell therapy platform, with a focus on the clinical development of a placenta-based treatment for complications associated with COVID-19.

When you are definitely not looking we get cash from the E U !

Encouraging preliminary data published earlier this month showed that the company's PLX cell-therapy product had treated six critically ill coronavirus patients in Israel who were considered high-risk for mortality – all of whom survived.

"We believe that this financing will allow us to significantly advance the clinical development of our lead product candidates, which if successful we expect will improve the quality of life for millions of patients around the world,"

I don't think the Israelis will even bother to respond BT, straight into the bin that will go, and then they'll turn their attention to something that matters.

By the way the EU gives the Pally's cash ,which they build some object, like a home /shed in Judea and Sameria ,with their little blue logo on the 'houses'.What would the Europeans say if Israel gave money to immigrants and slapped the 'Star of David flag above the door?( On disputed land if possible!)

Don't bother about the EU Balan, we just laugh at them now in Brexit Britain, you should do the same, I'm sure your leaders do. The more irrelevant they become, the more hot air emanates from Brussels, but it's all sound and fury, signifying nothing.

The EU is not standing behind the statement, only the Commissioner responsible for foreign affairs. The EU requires a consensus on such matters and it does not have it.

This warning against Israel’s intention to “annex” parts of the West Bank by Mr J Borrel is, as it was for your predecessor Mrs. Mogherini, an easy but dishonest declaration. Your attitude towards Israel remains unaffected because this country, even after more than seventy years of existence, has still no understanding of PR, and remains incapable defending its history and its implication in International Law. It can be understand that you base de legitimacy of the creation of the state of Israel on the 1947 UNGA Resolution 181, what gives you the opportunity to apply the Fourth Geneva Convention and the French false translation of UNSC Resolution 242 in order to accuse Israel of violating International Law. But you don’t take into account that Resolution 181 wasn’t binding, as are all UNGA Resolution, and more, it was rejected by all the Arab states, so it went off the table. But much worse, Resolution 181 was flagrant violation of the authority of “Res Judicata”, because exactly 25 years earlier the League of Nations voted unanimously by all its 51 members, including your country, Spain, the Mandate for Palestine. This Mandate gave the Jewish people the irrevocable right to settle on the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and at least the Jordan River (at least because Article 25 of the Mandate became obsolete the 14th of May 1948) and last but not least, the Golan Heights to create their independent Jewish state. The Mandate for Palestine remains valid to this day, can’t be rescinded, and is reaffirmed in Article 80 of the UN Charter. If you have any doubts about what is written, ask your experts to analyze the necessary documents (1919 Paris Peace Conference, the 1920 San Remo Conference, the League’s A Class Mandates, and the 1922 Mandate for Palestine) to confirm the content of this open letter, and help you, to have a different look about the present matter.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), officials accused Abbas of using the funds as a means of “blackmail” to force their organization to change its policies and make “political concessions.” They are on the brink of bankruptcy after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas cut funds to the organization, which was founded in 1967 by George Habash.
The PFLP, a secular Marxist organization, is the second largest group forming the PLO. Abbas’s Fatah is the largest and most dominant faction in the PLO. The PFLP, which does not recognize Israel, opposed the Oslo Accords that were signed between Israel and the PLO in 1993.
Famous for pioneering aircraft hijackings in the 1960s and 1970s, the PFLP is nowadays considered the main Palestinian opposition group in the West Bank after Hamas.

In December 2019, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) announced that Israeli security forces have uncovered and dismantled a 50-person strong PFLP cell believed to be behind a string of deadly attacks. In addition to Fatah and the PFLP, the PLO consists of a number of tiny groups, including the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Palestinian People’s Party (formerly the Palestinian Communist party), the Popular Struggle Front and the Palestinian Liberation Front.

Which leaves Israel to discuss any peace proposal with ......???

The EU is a busted flush, fragmented, odiously xenophobic and surprisingly toothless.

No wonder Boris can't be arsed dealing with COVID-19, he's too busy ridding the UK from the tentacles of European bureaucracy.

Every time the bit of freshly styled totty who is now fronting the EU show opens her mouth is really cringeworthy. Good riddance.
