At least someone actually did some work on that plane, so you could see where some of the money went. It hardly seems worth worrying about when we're paying billions to 80% of the country to sit on their arses doing nowt.

We are living in a crazy mixed up world.
    Kids can't go to school.
    Hospital appointments cancelled.
Almost impossible to visit your GP.
    Police targeting raves.
    Beaches packed like sardines.
    Holidays up in the air.
    Unemployment figures through the roof.
Bank of England claims the nation is virtually bankrupt.
Two Burnley fans fly a banner.
Sean Dyche on the brink of leaving Turf Moor.
    Savings accounts zeroed interest.
    Winston is boarded up.
    Our Cenotaph is boarded up.
    Second COVID-19 wave imminent.
    Economy tanked 20%.
    Our Prime Ministers response?
Boris gets his bloody plane tarted up.

........and Gary Lineker still get £1.75 million pounds of public money for presenting MOTD ---perhaps Boris should step in, get Lineker sacked and his plane will have been paid for, in fact, he could have another one done!

BT : Don't think of a time we had a rag and bone man with a horse and cart in the street!
We now have moved into a new world .In aviation today technology has advanced, no longer do they use paint from the corner shop, its now Nano-technology, for example....

It may sound fictional, but it’s happening. An Israeli company called Nanoflight is currently developing a special paint that makes drones, missiles, or war craft simply disappear. Or, to be more precise, they become very difficult to detect.

For the test run, a thin layer of the material was painted on dummy missiles, and radar waves aimed at them had a difficult time registering them. The paint particles do not make the missile’s detection on the radar disappear completely, but make it exceedingly difficult to positively identify the object as a missile. In the future, this development will allow any missile or jet significantly decreased radar detection.

The nanotechnology developed envelopes the object, absorbs the radio waves emitted by the radar, and releases them as heat energy scattered in space. In doing so, the material disguises the object, making it difficult to identify by radar.

Boris is protected by his bodyguards ,but in the air? Maybe they have bought Israeli nanotechnology paint, and that's why its about 900 quid. It's cost would be about 200, but we have to make a profit! ......(But I am sure we do pass technology like this on to Britain!)
