Exactly. Bit of patience was needed and the statement was released when there was concrete information.

A couple of things are interesting about this deal. The numbers have been limited by Sky to the season tickets sold last season so there is potential some could miss out? Maybe the club don't anticipate selling mote than last year (given the wording of the announcement)? Also, no mention of Arabzone, is the club re-branding their on-line offering?

And what an amazing opportunity to market Scottish football across the whole of the UK. When we start the EPL will have recently finished last season and our game will be Sky's sole focus!

EDIT: The bit about a limit of numbers is speculation at this point, I can't see anything about it other than it being reported, half heatedly, by BBC Scotland.

The article on the BBC website is confusing. Are Aberdeen not doing this at all? Why does it say they are 'hoping' to show away games?

I presume it means home matches will be available to season ticket holders but they are hoping to also give their fans the ability to watch their team away? Phucknose.

Pretty sure the United statement mentions an upgrade to current Arabzone production quality Terry. And about time. That co commentator who sighs all the time needs replacing apart from anything else.

It does mention production quality upgrade but not Arabzone. It talks of Club TV instead...

Well that's confused me. (Not hard some might say) I assumed it was Arabzone as I was never aware that we had something called Club TV.

I'm slightly confused/curious by this bit, but if anyone can clarify -

Dundee United pledge that if three or more home games are held behind closed doors during Season 2020/21, those who purchase a season ticket they will receive a credit equivalent to 1/19th of their season ticket price for each match missed from the third match that can then be put towards either the overall cost of a season ticket or match tickets for the 2021/22 season.

Am i being daft, but if you have currently have season ticket (or get one before cut off mark), and games are behind closed doors, you have access to streaming, so you aren't going to miss games streamed, so is this statement aimed at those who dont make the cut so's to speak, or U16s? Or is this if you don't make the priority cut to get in stadium if limited capacity.

Obviously there are a lots of questions they will answer in fullness of time, and sound good, not sure what thinking behind Sky limiting sales are. Obviously if you are Celtic and have a waiting list you cant sell beyond your capacity, not going to happen at United. Be interesting to know what Uniteds limit is, might be fairly sufficient, but this encourages people to buy. Over 3,000 sold so far. Think new season tickets and renewals or on sale at present. Might strangely enough encourage out of towners to buy season tics.
