    Fao 59/60

    https://www.libdemvoice.org/libdemif...-us-64153.html

"Lib Dem councillor apologises after tweeting photo of bacon before 'solidarity' Ramadan fast
Ian Manning said it was one of his 'finest moments of idiocy'"

I presume you've joined in with this show of solidarity mon ami ? In which case don't go WhatsApping any photos of your early morning bacon butty to any of your Muslim chums. And don't go raiding the biscuit barrel early afternoon either.

FFS what idiocy will the LibDems think up next. I cannot imagine, why any sane person wants anything to do with this virtue signalling bunch of half-wits I have no idea. 59, you deserve better than this, get your resignation letter in and come and join the rest of us in the real world.

I can't see ant mention of Mr Manning at the link Mon Ami. He does appear to have done a daft thing though, as he admits.

And, even though I set out with good intentions, my Lent attempt to cut out chocolate lasted six days so I will not be partaking in the fast day.

I don't see owt wrong with the idea though? It's not compulsory. And if it raises a few bob for good causes then what's not to like?

The quote is from a piece behind a paywall so no point putting a link up to it. Mr Manning also says,

    "I just didn’t think actually.”

Which very succinctly sums up the problem with the LibDems, they seem to make a habit of not thinking, like their policy of overturning the result of the EU referendum. Anyway, if it's all in a good cause and a 'unique experience' why are you not joining in, and you don't need to believe that LibDem piece which says you have to eat your breakfast before sunrise, my nephew and his wife are Muslims and they don't, there's a way round it. So get yourself joined in mon ami, see what hunger is really like, apparently its good for you, or so your leaders are saying.

I'm just wondering how you managed to read it if it was behind a paywall...and you didn't pay?

I reckon you are a Saudi spy who specialises in computer hacking.

    Respect.
