I knew Dave from working at Corus and we would often talk about the Millers.
He was a down to earth great guy.
    Such a sad end.
    RIP Dave

TRIBUTE | We were deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of lifelong fan, Roy Parkin, aged 91.

Roy - described by his family as a 'cheeky little fella' - followed his beloved Millers in any way he could.

Full text from the official site. Yes another nice touch from PW. RIP Eric.

Eric was a proud and lifelong supporter of the Millers, never having a bad word against them no matter how the team played.

He loved going to the games, always one of the first in the ground and the last one out.

We would like to thank Paul Warne for sending a personal message whilst he was ill and it brought a smile to his face just before he passed away.

One of his last comments was: "That Paul is such a humble and wonderful guy."

His family will miss him at the games and wished they could have had a chance to take him to one more match.

They know he will be watching down on them, still shouting for the team to win.

Don’t think he was that highly old either…

Remember him always talking to officials and shaking there hands in the warm up…just a little bit of kidology wether it had any effect or not…
