    RIP John
TRIBUTE | We have been deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong fan and former club accountant, John Geoghegan

He championed Alan Lee's call-up to the ROI senior squad and even contacted FAI by letter to do so.

Yes he was a great servant to the club, often in very difficult times financially.

I knew John quite well over the years. Last time i had a pint with him was before he went to live in Ireland a few years ago. Think he was visiting the area when tragedy struck.....RIP John....

I got to know John through my friendship with one of his sons and was really sad to hear of his passing, he was always such a nice and friendly guy and will be missed. A great servant to the club too, I think he performed minor miracles on the clubs books of the time.

    RIP David

TRIBUTE | We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of fan and former staff member, David Kirk.

David was, for a time, the friendly face greeting fans in the shop at Millmoor.

R I P David Kirk worked on the staff at Mcalls Special products when I worked there. I know he ran the old club shop at Millmoor. Last time I saw him was at the cup game against Hull city in January. I'm abit shocked having known him also you think people can go on for ever, he was only bout 5 years older than me. Sad Loss.
