Think the standing section behind the goal was called the paddock. Amazing atmosphere that night and bedlam at utd goals in there.

Yeah, paddock, correct. I was there with a couple of guys from Leicester and they couldn't believe how good we were.

Aye, it is Old Trafford, 1984. The night before the game. It was, as several have said, quite a night!
I thought that was a difficult one because it has changed so much.
Right. Challenge laid down then, I'll delve deeper into my collection of photos for a more difficult one!

Another Jim training session from the book, although Jim is behind the cameraman this time (you'll just have to take my word for it that he was there).
Most of these deities will be very easy to name. But not all. Who is that on the far right?
And where was it taken? And what year?

No idea why he'd be in a United tracksuit, crazy guess but is that Jim Baxter? West Sands St Andrew's maybe.

Ummm.....how did you cheat Stoke? Do you have a beach identifier app that scans and identifies dunes on any given midweek on an indeterminate date, probably some time in the 1970s?
    That's a pretty specialised app!

😅 hehe it was the 4th dune from the left that gave it away

Can't for the life of me identity who that player is. Obviously not a youth but could be a reserve or a fringe player, but I was watching United a lot at the time and it's not a face I immediately recognised. Got a feeling I'm going to kick myself though.
