Cheers mate, I missed this article.

It really gets up my nose when people describe the old site as an "eyesore" They seem to quickly forget the well paid and prestigious jobs that were available and the benefits they put into many areas of the local community.

A big housing development has been projected on the site of the old "Bean Foundry" in Coseley close to where my house is/was. Complete disregard for the problems relating to safe and reasonable access/exit from the site which will be very limited by the adjacent Birmingham New Road. The surrounding area is already crammed with traffic.

Still I guess in the end money will out as usual.
