    Rainbow are the best band I ever saw that I didn't like before the gig if that makes sense. Monsters of Rock, they were bloody epic

    Oh yes monsters of rock at Donington 1980. I was 15 and got the *******ing of my life when my old man found out where I'd been!!

    Emotional well being warning. Beware of the ending. I handled it...just about, but I know a couple of people who cried buckets.

    P.S. I went to see Rufus Wainwright at Buxton a couple of years ago. He had a relationship with Lorca Cohen - Leonard’s daughter - and they produced a daughter who I imagine will unavoidably be blessed with genius. The RW concert happened to be almost exactly a year after Leonard’s death and he sang a medley of Leonard’s songs culminating in ‘Hallelujah’. Magic!
