Certainly seemed like it with what my golfing mate (who had no axe to grind with dfc) told me.

Peter Lawell (Celtic) and Neil Doncaster is who they mean
Peter Lawell is a former director of the SPFL and is unlikely to be mentioned in the WhatsApp messages.

It has just been reported on the BBC website that the vote in favour of the independent investigation has failed.
13 clubs were in favour 2 abstained and the rest vote against it.
The SPFL in my opinion is finished as it is rotten to the core.

    Thanks for the information.
Is this to ensure that Celtic are officially announced as champions of the Premier League.

It’s him. He and Neil Doncaster are the powerbroker of Scottish football.

The idea of Neil Doncaster teaming up with some boy from Montrose to run Scottish football was amusing though.

the biggest laugh is now we all move along and the gravy train rumbles along the track!
the game up here is up the poley, chairmen looking for the buck that falls off the rangers or celtics chairmen's plates
the only things that will see a scottish football revival would be if the weegie blemishes naff off to england or the other chairmen outwith the cartel grow a set of balls and demand reconstruction and collectively tell sky to ffff off

short term pain for long term gain, but unfortunately it will never happen

Earlier this week I was having a look at the Aberdeen Football Club Limited Group annual accounts for the year ending 30th June 2019. (source Companies House).
Amazingly they made an operating loss of £1,290,000 and due to falling property prices in Aberdeen wrote down the value of Pitoddrie Stadium, car park and adjacent land from £15,250,000 to £11,000,000.
    Their total loss was £5,540,000.
If Aberdeen FC cannot make an operating profit despite their large average home gates and being the only team in Aberdeen (Cove Rangers were a Highland League team during this period) then it is a sad state of affairs. Their first team players are being paid too much.
