I would ask our budgie. He doesn't speak but his non verbal communication is brilliant.

On a serious note again it looks like more people out and about, the more that do this the sillier the rules in Scotland will look and I can get back to walking around empty fields hitting a wee ba a boot.

    Agree.

Waiting on a blood pressure monitor to be sent from GP.

Been waiting weeks......my BP fluctuates at the higher end of acceptable.

Phoned today as I was curious as why it's taken so long.

Was told they ain't sending any out as it's an infection risk.

Despite me saying I'm happy to accept that miniscule risk rather than risk the heart attack it was still no.

I pressed further about why they thought it was a risk to find out basically the nurse thinks it's a lot of pish but following the rules.

She said if I bought my own she can send out instruction of how to monitor.

I said so I go and buy a BP monitor from Boots that has no doubt been packaged in China and that's ok, getting a no it or sent from my GP is a risk because other patients have had it round their arm.

    Answer.....yes I'm afraid so.

    🙄

To be fair there have been a spate of deaths with contaminated BP monitors.....

    Sturgeons calculation is

    England's R rate plus 0.4 So she can justify what's she's doing.

I think it's essentially a best guesstimate. They guesstimate how many people might get it from an infected individual. Anything above a guess of 1 means it's spreading a guess of 1 means it's not and a guess of less than 1 means it's declining.

Yup, this means we're all suffering because of a guess.

I have little faith in scientists who have suddenly become ‘so called experts’. They were previously known as ‘mad’ scientists.

I agree with your disagreement of the word ALL.
