    This programme was mentioned on our Zoom meeting last night. Hip happening TV with hip happening guests and hip happening music. Prime Saturday teatime viewing on the BBC from 1959 to 1967.

    Just reminds us that there was some utter rubbish on record back then. Pinky and f***ing Perky, for God’s sake, who the hell would buy such garbage?

    My mom and dad !

    They bought me a Pinky and Perky album when I was about three or four years old.

    Can't remember which album or whether it was for Christmas or my birthday, but they definitely bought me one.

    They obviously couldn't have liked me very much, and probably liked me even less when I played it ....... .
