    R....love or about hate?

Is religion about love or about hate ??

I've really no idea why you Jews and Muslims pretty much everywhere hate each other so much Balan.

All I see are a load of Palestinians holed up in Gaza by the Israelis and Egyptians and the world just watches another Warsaw.
happen all over again. It appals me, it really does.

We are not talking about all who hate happen all over again. In that period as Jews entered Israel. Jews in many Arab countries suffered a Jewish exodus from Arab countries, a departure, flight, expulsion, evacuation and migration of 850,000 Jews, mainly from 1948 to the early 1970's. Primarily from Iraq, Yemen and Libya. In these cases over 90% of the Jewish population left, despite the necessity of leaving their property behind. The reasons for the exoduses are manifold, including push factors, such as persecution, antisemitism, political instability, poverty and expulsion, together with pull factors, such as the desire to fulfill Zionist yearnings or find a better economic status and a secure home in Europe or the Americas. All this they can never forget. For people in Britain if you lost a family to the Nazi machine, can you forgive them?

Jews from Europe, South America,do not hate the Palestinians. But the hatred being fed from the Palestinian leadership. So how can the violence stop?

It depends on how many Palestinians they catch, so they can stand on their shoulders and backs.

Ive never been what you could call a person of religion.. I still don't understand why there was all the trouble in Ireland over it..

I was brought up as a Protestant ,but played football and cricket with a catholic team.. It was split between the two religions and run by the catholic priest.. Never once was there any discussions on religion, most of my best friends were Catholics as well . How different thing in N air eland was in the dark days..

Religions are inherently antagonistic towards others

Those working for the welfare of society know that rallying around the various religions is both poisonous and deadly. Each religion proclaims themselves superior and that the followers of their religion are the chosen ones, while others are not even human but creatures of hell - doomed forever.

For example, Muslims term Jews as pigs, and vice versa. The Christians think all non-Christians are heretics and vile - fit for hell fire. Every religion is antagonistic towards the other religions. They each preach unity within their own religion - and hatred without. In day to day living, blind adherents of a particular religion harbour enmity towards the followers of other religions.

Most surprisingly, those who are not dedicated followers of any of the religions think the various religions can be united and live in harmony. Those people do not follow a particular religion, do not study the scripture or any creed, nor do they listen to the words of those preachers. Yet somehow, they think those religions can bring peace and social justice. They live in the dark thinking that religious unity can bring welfare to society. This is just their ignorance.

Remember, as long as the various religions exist and their provincial teachings are preached - there will be blind believers of those poisonous ideas who spread hatred and venom between the various religions. Religion itself is the problem - not a rallying point for unity in times of crisis.

Every picture/image tells a story. You walk home one night and see an old man sitting on the grass, but it turns out to be a stone. A rope on the road, but you imagine a snake,as you come close ,you see its a rope. A leaf you think its a bird etc etc

So if you place a photo ,please say exactly what has happened the full story Then if you are so appalled, horrified with it all ,whats your answer?

Just think about all the facts before you answer.

Remember the PLO,(Fatah) , is an organization founded in 1964 with the purpose of the "liberation of Palestine" through armed struggle, with much of its violence aimed at Israeli civilians.

Then Hamas, what is it's motto? The Hamas document reiterates the Muslim Brotherhood's slogan of

"Allah is its goal, the Prophet is the model, the Qur'an its constitution, jihad its path, and death for the sake of Allah its most sublime belief."

Then BT, have you never thought that, that is what they want ,plus nearly always there is some photographer 5 m away, ready to fantasize, some horrible, frightful moment of danger. But that's the game '' Please donate to the Palestinian people''. Give generously!

'Its leaders live in palaces while the people suffer,'and 'lefties donate, but is that their new religion?

Corruption: A major cause of Palestinian suffering

Much has been said about the sums that the Palestinian Authority spends on salaries of terrorists imprisoned in Israel and the families of “martyrs” – in other words, suicide-terrorists and those killed during their murderous operation. But when you talk to Palestinians about the misappropriation of funds allocated by the international community, the first term they use is “corruption.”

According to several surveys of the Palestinian population, the corruption of their leaders is the second most popular cause of their misery. According to the same surveys, the first cause would be the inability of these same leaders to create a strong economy. The Israeli occupation comes in third place.

To divert the attention of the media, the international community and their people, all they had to do was accuse Israel of all their ills.

So look at Gaza ,what do you say a prison? B T says : ''All I see are a load of Palestinians holed up in Gaza by the Israelis and Egyptians and the world just watches another Warsaw happen all over again. It appals me, it really does.''
so this is a must ,this is Gaza!!!!

It’s about neither Balan - it’s about mans constant drive for power - religion is just a tool / lever that gives sad men the platform to ultimately end up killing each other.

I think it's more about spatiality than religion army88. Throughout the ages, human beings compelling biological desire to accumulate more "space" has been and continues to be the motivating factor in human conflict.
