Which German team are you supporting?

Mine were Borussia Monchengladbach until I saw BBC sport had run a 'If they were an English team' and they were compared to Forest. Now I think they are just a bunch of Kuntz. Hertha Berlin,my lads gone for Augsburg

Both near the bottom and we like the underdog. Oh no, don't tell me they they have a socialist history. Well, at least that would give you a foot in on a footie thread.

SC Freiberg because they play in black and white stripes, albeit that is their away kit as their home kit is black and red stripes. They have a 24,000 seater stadium which is just slightly bigger than Meadow Lane. Although unlike us they all but fill their ground every home game which we would probably do if we were in the premier league.

Great to have some live football back. I don't know about 'supporting' but I'll be watching Dortmund v Schalke. I've always had a sneaking regard for Dortmund although I'm not sure why.

Nice to see James Richardson getting a bit of the limelight as BT Sport's presenter. Going back to his days presenting Italian football on Channel 4 I've always thought he's one the most genuinely enthusiastic football presenters who really does know his stuff (rather than reading it off an autocue) and he has his own particular, chatty style that doesn't seem as formulaic as some of his peers.

Says the enthusiastic contributor to political threads who has just brought politics into a football thread!

Good thread anyway, will follow with interest.
