    Quite right. OF are correct in identifying the lack of a competitive threat each game they play as the reason for their poor performances in the Champions League. They know that, they complain about it, but the very last thing they will do is take action to make the SPL more competitive. Do that and they might actually realise how much more effort they need to put into each game.
    They come to Dens, they tippy tappy the ball about and just coast through every game. Why do they do that- IMO it's because we and most other teams are just trying to keep the score down and perhaps nick a goal against the run of play. Come their CL games they are struggling because they can't defend and they get pressure put on them as soon as they get the ball.
    4 visits from the OF, equals 4 borefests. Tv coverage guaranteed so non committed opposition fans give it a TV show and fewer PATG fans turn out.

    There is one obvious reason why Rangers and Celtic lose their Champions League matches. The referees for their Champions League matches do not give Rangers and Celtic ‘soft’ penalties which the Scottish referees give them throughout the Scottish football season year after year.
