    Comparisons Leave / Not leave

Not selling doesn't bear thinking about. This from the Mag.

It will go through, but to go along with the thread, it will never be like it was. If for arguments sake the sale got blocked, Ashley would pull the plug. He will not pay players wages without any money coming in from matchdays. If the PL block this we will be the first club in the PL to be in serious trouble. The future of the club is in the hands of the PL.

Ashley wouldn’t throw in the towel and loose £300M
He is far too greedy for that .
He bankrolled us when we were relegated twice due to his negligence.
Any extra money would not come out his own pocket but be added to the asking price .

This takeover is past the point of no return.
He lost 10k supporters and had to give away free tickets last year if he doesn’t leave I recon the sheer disappointment would see another 10 / 15 k to add to those numbers SJP would be half full.
If this falls through he will have to find another buyer sharpish

But he always had something coming in. Believe me this takeover is his last chance of getting 300m. He will sell everything from players to soap in the bogs to get what he can. If TV money has to be paid back it would be cheaper for him to run. By all accounts no fans for at least 6mth, not a chance he will bankroll the club to keep it going. He needs this sale for Shyte Direct so that tells you where he is financially.
