    Steve Bruce

On interview on Sky talking about return to training.

He mentioned takeover for first time saying it would be a good thing for the Toon.

He admitted it would be the first time we could compete since the days of Sir Bobby or the Keegan side of the nineties.
He also said he would like to be part of it.

I think he must have been told something or he would not talk like that if he thought Ashley could be staying.

I was thinking that....surely he wouldn't say anything like that if there was a chanced fatso would call him into his office and say 'so....you'd rather we had new owners then, Gregg's boy...?'

In a way, I feel sorry for Bruce (yeah, I know he made his bed, let him lie in it, and I don't want him anywhere near our team if this happens) but he'll look at what's about to happen to us and know, deep down, that he's not going to be a part of it.

I don't feel sorry for him in any way. Sooner him, Penfold and Ashley are out the better. Take anyone else that has licked Ashleys fat hoop over the years with them as well.
Let's have a clean sweep and get rid of all the sh1te

Nothing against him. Just not up to the job ahead.

Won't look back when he goes.

I was thinking that we should maybe give him a job Seen as he’s Geordie and loves the club, training the under 18’s or U 21 ‘S
But that thought didn’t last long
    He’s too old school
We need quality especially at youth level.

A clean sweep with a new broom

Can’t wait for the new regime
We’re in for one helluva ride

    Double party for me
    Ashley leaves

Noticed Bruce mention how strong he feels managing in the championship. A little come get me quote I'm thinking. I personally feel for the guy wouldn't like being in his position he knows his time is up.

Aye, i thought that was a bit of "come and get me".

Like I have said, no sympathy. Its hard to have any when for a start he is sh1te and secondly he has walked out on every team he hasnt been sacked from so maybe its his turn to see what thats like and last of all, if you do have sympathy and I can't see why, would you give him 150-200m to spend on players?
