The FL have been waiting for this and I bet that Stevenage chairman wont have any complaints about the season being cut short.
Barrow will go up the correct decision as the NL are not going to play the season out.
One more place should be play offs and I am ok with that but we could still get screwed and NL promote Harrogate which is wrong imo.
The NL would be hugely in favour of keeping Notts 'down' because
1. Relatively speaking, Notts are financially sound.
2. Notts impact both home and away on attendances
3. Geographically Notts are handily placed for travel.
IOW, we're screwed.
can't see the NL board keeping Notts down for any of them reasons - the only one they'd like is the away attendances - but away fans are likely to be banned until long after home fans are - to discourage packed coaches and trains going from one end of the country to another.
Publicity for the league and by that i mean Notts have a far higher profile in football than Harrogate is something the NL would obviously like to keep - i think the play offs taking place is probably 50-50 at present and that's probably being optimistic.
