"Safe" is not a magical thing that can be decided. It is a subjective judgement about the level of risk you are willing to accept.

The risk in the UK is amongst the highest of any country in the world. Some people may be satisfied that the risk of death to the players, staff and their families is low enough to continue, but the risk is absolutely 100% there. In NZ it's arguably not there at the moment yet still they're proceeding with more caution than we seem to be.
I dont disagree with any of that.

However, football seems fairly certain they can create a safe space. It's over to them to prove / justify it. In that sense the point on safety is moot.

You can’t create a “safe space” when it’s a contact sport!

In the highlights of zee German games the players were fist pumping and banging elbows. Why?
Although some people may have said it,s lower risk, there's still a risk with any contact so why do it at all.
    Unnecessary.
At least they didn't kiss each other

I dont know much about it.

However, Im guessing if all involved are tested and only allow those that are virus free to participate then there is no one to pass it on. Testing will be done twice a week.

Test Cricket are talking of playing games at grounds with hotel facilities (Rose Bowl, Old Trafford, etc) and create a sealed off quarantined (if that the right word) site. Test players, tv crews, officials on entry and keep them in an enclosed environment for the duration of the game.

Just what Ive heard, not sure if it works.
