    You keep contradicting yourself.

You’ve already highlighted the arrogance posts.

By your own admission you were looking for a post where I’ve gone on about qualifications. Repeatedly saying a post exists. Even saying I’ve deleted such a post.

It’s your usual nonsense tactic. It doesn’t exist because I never posted anything about qualifications.

You’re just showing yourself up to be a liar. Even your usual bum chums on here will not be clamouring to support you on this one.

I’m still waiting for proof I’m a multi.

Let be clear. I’m arrogant towards people like you because you are not an honest person. Ever more frequently the mask slips and people can see through you. This is a prime example.

You and your equally distasteful pal, just keep throwing false accusations around and to be honest it’s time to stop. So I’m sorry, you haven’t won the hour. Probably never won anything in your life.

Your place is behind a keyboard, pretending to be all the things your not.

I genuinely feel sorry for you.

Now have a good’un and try not to bother me anymore.

Time for a truce I think

Sit down, take a breath, have a beer and chill.

Gone to deuce too many times, no need for a tie break.

Selective arrogance? That's a new un! Dunt look like I'm one on mi own though... Part of a select many! I shall take comfort from that...

You are a funny guy howdy I will say that. Whether its funny strange or ha ha I'm not sure.

Let the punters read the conversation between me and thee and see what they think. They are probably pretty tired of me and thee bickering so they probably won't anyway.

I might set you a challenge though now before i go like you did me. Where did I actually say you were a multi? Your time starts now... I wunt want to say you are a liar like you called me (and obviously wasn't). There's thousands of posts out there...have fun.... Good luck...

I will warn you it's a pretty laborious task and you may have better things to do with your day...

My distasteful pal aint been on for ages by the way. I hope you will join me, Cam and others hoping he is ok...

I agree entirely Grist. I am happy to do it. Let's hope Howdy is. I tried to end it early this morning to no avail...it just goes round in circles. If our mum's were here we would both get a clip on the ear and be told to stop bickering.

Tha can say what tha wants now Howdy but for the sanity of this board I'm stopping my contributions to this argument..its chuffin pointless...

No beer for me by the way. It's Uke time!

    Yay!
Talking of Uke playing. There was a guy on the radio saying that for lockdown he was learning to play the uke. He had took a break when the cat knocked a heavy plant pot off a shelf which fell heavily on his beloved uke doing it no good whatsoever.

His wife said it was the only good note the blasted thing had played all week.

    Divorce proceedings start next week.

I can't help but thinking the general public have been given a sweetener with the six people/ BBQ relaxation coming into effect on Monday
Or to put it another way we've been bought in an attempt by the govt to stop the demand for Cummings to go.

Health Advisors are warning that this could be too early and there's a suggestion that this move is politically motivated rather than based on sound medical advice,.

Maybe I'm being too cynical but Boris the Womble was never going to rid of Dominic Specsaver and after a few beers and burgers with a few friends it will be forgotten

All of the decisions made in respect of the lockdown are political ones.

Any easing of the lockdown has the potential to resulted in new infections and deaths, but the medical/epidemiological position is only one of the factors that the government has to take into account.

The lockdown carries costs in many ways: adverse effects on mental health, limitations upon the ability to access non-Covid related medical care, children unable to socialise and access full education (with the data suggesting that it is kids from poorer backgrounds who are being most affected), loss of employment and the accrual of debt - the list goes on. In my area of work, the criminal courts are largely at a halt, with an increasing number of people sitting in custody on remand with no idea when their cases might come to trial. And the lockdown will need to be paid for in due course.

The six person BBQ relaxation has no real potential to increase infections, provided people comply with social distancing. Unfortunately, one poll suggests that one in five of the most risky group don't:

I don't buy into the idea that the BBQ relaxation is about Cummings. That is now old news beyond The Guardian and Mirror. I'd say it is more about giving people a bit of liberty and encouraging people to get used to the notion that things can and will have to return to something more resembling normality. Someone on the Schools Returning thread talked about Covid being eradicated. That isn't going to happen for years if not decades, if at all.
