    Shinnie to Rangers?

A football thread...who’d a thought? Latest rumour in the DT is that Gerrard wants Shinnie.
Hope not. After a dodgy start and then a bad injury I though he looked like an excellent signing.

I think he could be one of our better players if he gets a proper run. 100%er too!

RA don't think it's Gerrard who wants him just Chris Boyd he must have named fifty players Rangers should sign since lockdown began Don't no why he's named Shinnie he used to slate him before we signed him

Completely agree. Great attitude and an on the pitch leader for when Rooney isn’t available too, imo.

Looking at the DM role, we have Rooney, Hudds, Bird, Bielik, Evans.......... do we need Shinnie? The money would come in handy.

Or do we? Bird is linked with Chelsea, Rooney is getting on a bit - only played two and a half months of last/this(?) season - Hudds is getting on and injury prone and, personally, I don’t rate Evans who is also injury prone.
I like Shinnie, he’s got a bit of old fashioned ferocity about him...and he can play a bit.
I think, Shinnie and Wisdom are the two Derby players I’d least like to be on the receiving end of a tackle from...apart from one of Bielik’s ‘I’ll get there when I can’ ones.

Not heard of Lamps going for Bird. That would actually go against Mel's plan of 50% of the matchday squad being ex DCFC Academy next season (or was it the one after?).

Slap a £20M price tag on him.

All over the DT a fortnight ago, but other rather more significant things have been happening. The fee mentioned was £5m.
