    I think maybe the main problem with football in this regard is the loss of camaraderie when your football career ends, people who were in the armed forces also struggle with this.

    Very touching read that. Well done to Richie.
    Mental health is real and I’ve had my issues leaving the forces world.
    I used to miss having a goal to achieve it was like I wasn’t the same person after leaving it behind.
    I had some dark days and got help.
    For me it was the friends I had lost along the way it still effects me now.
    Richie Barker is correct make sure you talk to someone it really does help.
    I wouldn’t have been here today if I didn’t get help at the time.
