I am Jack Grealish

I played at NYS but not at Millmoor. Scored the winner there for Villa.

I started young and signed for my local club. Supported and signed for Villa at the age of 6.

I lost in a couple of cup finals but a distant relative went one better. Lost an FA Cup and a League Cup final. My great, great Grandfather won the FA Cup in 1905, also with Villa.

I played for my country at junior levels but not as a senior. Not yet.

My professional debut came at a club that are no longer in the 92. On loan to Notts County.

I experienced playoff heartache and joy in consecutive seasons. Lost the Championship play off final with Villa against Fulham in 2018, won in 2019 against Derby.

Unpublished clues

I have a sporting namesake who is even from the same town as my family. A hurler called Jack Grealish from Gort, Galway, Ireland.

I seem to make as much news outside football as I do playing the game. e.g. COVID-19 lock down party.
