See Glyn Pardoe passed away today. Unfortunately his goal in the 1970 League Cup final is etched forever as a painful memory. I wasn’t there At Wembley - what a mud heap after the Horse of the Year show - but did watch it on TV. We had a decent side back then. Week before I saw my first Albion live game - a 3-3 draw against Wolves. Seems like Pardoe only ever played for City - one of the very few one club players. RIP Glyn - forgiven but never forgotten.
