[QUOTE=BCram;39502316]Quite right, reading back some of the threads can be very entertaining and certainly make some of our current efforts seem very restricted. CC33 or The Voice of the Voiceless as he styled himself was great value. Joe Covenant spent days and days arguing for Independence during the referendum, etc. What happened to the posters of old? Wonder if it might be possessed blew to check up how they are getting on. They might be posting elsewhere but surely they have not retired their usernames?[/QUOTE

In my opinion the Snowflake generation are calling the shots. It is time for the older generations to tell these wimps that viruses just have to run their course and eventually this virus will die out. Get on with life.
It will be interesting to see what trends this virus takes when they have more information, notice that a fifth of deaths are diabetics which is no surprise as that’s a national pandemic on its own nearly.
Old people/underlying health issues/ seem to be the groups being hit hard but not entirely there are cases of younger people also , not an expert but may even be a genetic link why some take it worse than others.
Not sure putting healthy people into lockdown has been necessary either ,2 people who I work with had typical symptoms in January, one was quite bad but this was when we didn’t know anything or what to look for so would it be safe to assume that they probably passed on the virus (if it was) but some showed no symptoms....!!! who knows...

There are people who want more lockdown, more rules, more liberty restricted.....it's terrifying.

The trend that it has took has been basically the same as every other virus.

The aftermath unfortunately will not be.

That’s what I’m thinking also ,shield vulnerable groups yes but fit healthy nah ,interesting to see what happens if the holy grail R benchmark spikes and if they try and lockdown again...
