    It’s just been announced that the FA have confirmed that the Women’s Super League has been decided on a PPG basis, with Chelsea ‘doing a Swindon’ over Man City and Liverpool being relegated.

    If we are looking for hopeful signs then there’s a precedent that’s good to see.

    Indeed - the EFL has been explicit each division will decide for itself by majority, within their guidelines, and that plan crosses two divisions - while as you say however much DA id not counting chickens, he's not preparing to play any matches!
