Get your kicks on route to solving 66. Who am I?
I'm not known by my birth name.
I plied my trade in 3 countries.
It took me less than 20 minutes to become a hero at International level.
My introduction to management was an unusual one.

Well done. Thought I'd make this one easy as I didn't want you to go 10 without a win
I am Mark Hughes
I'm not known by my birth name. Leslie Mark Hughes.
I plied my trade in 3 countries. England, Spain, Germany.
It took me less than 20 minutes to become a hero at International level. Scored the winner for Wales in a 1-0 victory over England after 17 minutes of my debut.
My introduction to management was an unusual one. First managerial job was with Wales despite having no experience.
Unpublished clues
I was a regular but not prolific goal scorer. 17 was the most I ever scored in a league season. 224 in 799 for club, 16 in 72 for country..
I once played in two competitive games on the same day in different countries. For Wales in a Euro qualifier in Czechoslovakia and Bayern Munich in a cup game.
I stepped into the shoes of an RUFC favourite. Took over from Neil Warnock when he was sacked at QPR.
I won much more as a player than I did as a manager. 2 Premier League Titles, 4 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 2 European Cup Winners Cups as a player. Nothing as a manager.
I did something in the 20th century more than anyone else. Won the FA Cup 4 times as a player.
