If so it's a film classic, well worth watching
Although it's not the film I certainly recognised some of the colour footage from "Goal" when the programme was being previewed on tv this morning.
Me and my mate watched "Goal" as ****agers in Butlins, many years ago (obviously).
We had not factored in that it was Glasgow holiday week when we were there. The cinema audience consisted mainly of England-hating Glaswegians. An interesting experience - a bit like being in the other team's home end at an away match.

That must be why he couldn’t get into a poor Wimbledon side.

Probably got same type of manager we've got. Doesn't go on ability.

    WOW
What development? It's very doubtful Lamy will even be here next season.

Be our loss, someone else's gain. Lamy isn't far off just needs a manager to believe in him.

And a club that can afford a sizeable squad, which will be fewer next season.

Utility players that can “put a tackle in” and play in more than one position will be in great demand and Lamy isn’t that type of player

Well I don’t think we can spend too much to fetch some one, we’ll let some go and might even sell one or two

What needs to happen is fetch a player in for the position that’s needed most, that might be a defender, keeper
