One thing is for sure Geordie, when this goes through, it will change football forever. Given a few seasons and the financial backing these lot have, Newcastle United will be top dogs of global football, everyone else will be chasing us. The sums of money the PIF handle are crazy

Could this be used as a reason to hold up - saying that a state is buying the club (which isn't "officially" allowed) as they state is transfering funds?

I only hope if/ when the money comes rolling in
That we as a fan base manage to keep grounded.
And not whinge and moan like spoilt brats when things aren’t going our way, like I’ve heard manure fans carrying on.
We’ve been underdogs as long as I’ve known, even when we were flying under Keegan we were punching.
I don’t know how I will feel being a moneyed club and favourites to win everything?
Those expectations will be a heavy burden to carry on our shoulders.
I just hope we don’t loose what makes us -us ! something that’s really speacial.
