    O/T:- Fusion politics

“The truth, then, is that on the other end of this crisis we cannot return to normal. Normal was already a nightmare for so many of us.”

When people in power criticize us by saying that we are asking for too much, we remind them that when the wealthy are in trouble, they get everything they need and want. Why should we expect anything less?

If this stuff is taken seriously will end society, its socialism re-hashed. There is a pathway to wealth, if that's what you want through education. You will have to work hard for it though.

The poor are not poor. They lack the wealth of the rich, and wanting that makes you a money grubber anyway.

Look back in history, look at London in the early 1900s, street urchins with no shoes, hungry, cold, and abused. Now that's being poor. The poor today have all they want, the state even funds the pleasures of life to some degree.

But its not enough, it never will be. If you want money, manage the money you have better, quit gambling, tobacco, drugs, mobiles, etc, and start feeding your children. A quarter go to school hungry, an absolute disgrace. Your bank balance will begin to rise, then you can spend, but not to debt.

If you want money, get an education. This world will never hand you wealth like you have a right. You don't, you have to earn it. People like this want it on a golden plate.

There will always be the rich and poor. The word poor in Britain, is nonsense. That's why everyone wants to come here. Its as close to proper communism as it can get.

Really is that all you can input? You think it's okay for poor working families in our country to have to rely on food banks ?
I'm grateful to have a trade and earn decent money, our mortgage is paid, we were away on holiday four**** weeks last year but I have compassion and empathy for people less well off, also fears for the future for the young.

Either a wind-up or someone with no idea about the real world.

Yes, compared to other countries not poor, but there are many who go hungry so they can feed their children.

Surely that can't be true? You must know that the only people who dislike the Tories and the way they look after the wealthy are losers who are displaying "the politics of envy". It's not possible to have made a good living yet still have compassion and empathy for people less well off.

We've been told that many times on here.

    Classic VS Mad Dog Slater.

VS = Virtue signalling is the popular modern habit of indicating that one has virtue merely by expressing disgust or favour for certain political ideas or cultural happenings. Feeling morally superior and claiming the moral high ground.

    Some typical VS Language

Austerity (or living within your means)
Foodbank (Turning the efforts of spirited individuals and charities into leveraging these efforts for political gain)

    Nice answer

It takes a special kind of cynic to see political opinions as only a way to say something about your own self-image
    Total BS as you say.
