    Traitors

    Tranmere Rovers:
    Hidden down the report they submitted to the EFL ;

    The application of the PPG outcome sees Wycombe replace Peterborough in the play-off
    positions.
    Applying the MFE outcome sees Wycombe in the play offs but along with 3 other Clubs (Rotherham, Peterborough, Sunderland & Doncaster) who are included as potential play-off candidates. This results in 8 Clubs eligible for play-offs for two promotion spots. Coventry City are automatically promoted.
    Tranmere would not be relegated.

    EFL have to wade through all of this self interest and try to find the path of least harm for all to solve the dilemma

    I know we're biased but that isn't fair on us.
    It's one thing trying to come out on top after the remaining 8/9 games but to rely on a knockout playoff system is totally different.
    One bad half hour or a sending off in the playoffs and A season can be over that quickly.

    Laughable that in any event Tranmere wouldn't go down

    It's a dangerous proposal for us though because it,s in the interest of virtually all of the other clubs to vote for it.

    Yes I seem to recall that the EFL does not want expanded playoffs

    It was reported on the BBC that any proposal could not expand the playoffs beyond 4 teams.
