    O/T Idea

I know it is difficult to have an off topic area due to millions of topics.
    What about a politics area?
Might solve some grief on here

It’s point scoring that is a problem, like a effing school playground at times

Difficult to do because most topics have political aspects to them even footy...if people unknowingly make political comments about owt they will probably get a political response

    https://www.chronicle.com/article/Is...litical-/45993

Some folks, not having a dig by the way, like yourselves make political comments without even realising it.

You have actually made this thread political by saying politics could be on a seperate thread,

    Do ya get my drift.

Just to prove my point. Lets see how this thread develops now...

It's a non-starter as last I heard FootyMad wanted to close down 'sideline' message boards and are not allowing any new ones to be created.

So just shut the point scoring playground threads down then.

How about leaving the politics for another board more aligned to it. I personally just ignore the threads specially when they start to get to the petty name calling stages.

I’d suggest that people challenge what is written rather than who has written it.

Might stop seeing childish sniping then.

I don't see what the problem is if someone doesn't like a thread or particular poster
Scroll down, ignore it or don't even go on the thread.

That goes for RUFC discussions as well

Some would like to have a discussion though but it’s impossible sometimes

I normally put one or two on ignore list for a sort while until things calm down but this time I’ve put one on permanent
