    Saudis v yanks

We’ve heard Via the media that if the takeover by stately and MBS falls through we have an American wanting to buy us....
Wether this is true your guess is as good as mine .

But if we were to have a straight choice between Saudi money with the human rites issues
Or yanks with smaller cash injection and allegedly cleaner cash ....who would you choose??

    For me it’s the Saudis
    Not because of their wealth
But more over the way we have been treated in the press
I feel like everyone and their uncle wants this deal to fail and all the sh ite has got my back up.
If I ever had any doubts they are long gone I want this more than ever!!!

Does that mean I’m a bad man?

i want it to be the Saudi's also mate, they were awesome once they wanted to takeover Man Utd, nothing could stop them.
Now they want us, there is no end to the protests.

**** the world, it will go through otherwise it will open such a large can of worms , the Prem are just not equiped to deal with.

They just dont want to look like they have let it go easy, the piracy thing is the biggest thing, yet the Saudi's say they will but the rights for 50 times more than Qatar will. That ends that issue.

That's how I see it, the PL don't want it to appear that the Saudi's were just rubber stamped by them by showing they have done their due diligence and crossed their T's and dotted their I's. Keep your cans chilled boys.

Unlimited funds. Fuck everyone and everything else. I'm past caring about any of these bleeding hearts or virtue signallers or jealous bastards. Show me the fucking money.

Got to be the Saudis for me now. I am starting to get a kick out of being hated by the world, Newcastle supporters are more passionate, loyal and noisy when things are against us, so bring it on. My mate (Man City supporter from way back in the 60s ) said everyone turns against you when you get money like they did, and hopefully we do. He just said mention the titles and cup wins and smile.
If this takeover is stopped I am going to write letters of objection to any club being taken over by any one, and also ask Premier league to do owners and directors test on any team promoted from championship. (Just cos they were passed by EFL does not mean they are fit for PL) and object to them too
Got to get my kicks some how

Maybe that’s the answer - Bungle Bruce somehow manages to get us relegated, takeover goes through in the less stringent EFL, bring in Rafa, record points Championship win then take the EPL by storm - happy days

It is the Saudis for me. It will go through. If anyone believes there is an American bid waiting, look outside your house tonight and see if the moon is made of cheese. In a way you have to take your hat off to Staveley/Ruebens/PIF. They have had all sorts thrown at them and they haven't reacted once.

I'm totally in lock step with Zip on this one.

We have several case studies to look at in the league past and present.

    Clubs owned by USA

Hicks & Gillette - Liverpool was a disaster - Sure they have the Fenway Group now we are doing well but still it shows the break even on US ownership with that great club.

Stan Kroenke - Arsenal - starving the club of investment to keep them competitive. Disaster, money grabber, not interested in the ethos or traditions of the club.

Glazers - MU - Robbed the club, milking it for every penny. Sending the once greatest club on earth into decline. I'll have to say I'm personally delighted by this it's not good for the Supporters or the club.

So we're looking at a 3-1 ratio of negativity for US investors.

    Clubs owned by Middle East

Qatar Sports Investment - PSG - Perennial challengers for the league & now permanent fixture in the ECL.

Saudi Prince - Sheffield United - Purchased in the Championship, smart invested, rocketed up the league. Looking to become established as a decent mid-table Prem team.

Sheikh Mansour - Man City - I think this one writes itself. From a yoyo team, to the fraudulent ownership of Shinawatra to Premier League champions and boasting the worlds best manager.

I think the choice is quite clear.

Bring on PIF, Stavely & the Rubens.

    Saudis and money.

    Pablo Escobar and drug money.

...before the Pope of Rome and less money.

...and them cnts are no innocent bystanders in history either.
