That's a little unfair, Appere played a lot of games last season and was excellent.
Ye Robbie saying the right things but the favourites were picked when in championship so I can’t see them getting in team unless the favourites get injured 🤕 suppose just need to trust that this time Robbies learned and will play the best team rather than his best players fitted into team 😁

In a few interviews with first team players this summer, Kai Fotheringham has been mentioned as someone who really impressed during pre-season.
17 year old winger. 'Direct' and 'Electric' are just some of the words that have been used by guys like Reynolds and Pawlett.
Obviously stepping up into first team games is a whole other kettle of fish for someone who has never played anything other than reserve games. However, with the pressure of the crowds not there for the first few games, and signings not forthcoming, he could be in with a shout of some game time. It will be interesting to see how he does if given the chance.
Added onto that, going with the theme of this thread, we have a number of academy guys in our squad this pre-season (on top of Robson and Appere). Very encouraging for the club and as mentioned above, we are clearly going to need some of these guys to step up as it looks like no new signings are on the horizon.
Graham, Neilson, Davidson, Freeman, Robson, Glass, Mochrie, Meekison, Fotheringham, Chalmers, Watson, Appere.
Agreed its encouraging to see the youth coming through. Seems to be a massive upturn on recent years. Now comes the hard part for them however.
Diasagree about signings. The transfer window has only been open for 3 days & with a new manager only in the door, hell be evaluating things first. Still reckon we'll have 4, maybe 5 new players for the coming season.
Definitely mentioned in other threads but congrats to Lewis Neilson making his debut yesterday after only turning 17 this year!
Didnt look out of place. Will gain massive confidence from that. Well done young man!
