    I got this today”

    “ Dear David

On behalf of everyone at the Cystic Fibrosis Trust I'd like to start by saying a massive thank you again for your generous donation to our emergency appeal.

Your contribution is making a vital difference to the lives of those with CF, who are currently facing even more risks to their health and wellbeing on a daily basis.

Thanks to your support, since the launch of the emergency welfare grant programme just a few weeks ago, we have made 540 emergency grants to people with CF and their families, and we are continuing to experience a very high demand for help.

We’ve been working extremely hard to be there for as many people as possible, giving Vital advice and support throughout these challenging times. The most frequent enquiries we’ve received from the CF community through the increased calls to the helpline include shielding measures, access to food and personal finances.

We are also using this information to secure the right support for people with CF through the NHS and government during this pandemic. The UK CF Registry has provided essential data for the research community during this health crisis, and we are continuing to work closely with the CFMA to provide the latest information and guidance for people with CF on our website.

Thank you again for your kind and generous support during this time. We know that now, more than ever, the CF community needs our services and thanks to you we can continue to work towards a better life for everyone with cystic fibrosis.

    With best wishes,

    David Ramsden”
