When is it reasonable to start panicking, I've pencilled it in for the 18th of June.

I've not really heard this mentioned (but it probably has?), but our league football runs from August to May for good reason as it is considered a cooler weather sport. Even as a nipper, cricket took over from around the time of the FA Cup final until school restarted after the summer holidays. Players presumably feel the same way?

So, are there any teams that might have a short-term advantage because of their player composition? Just wondering.

I've always thought that most international tournaments tend to favour those teams from warmer climates, which is my vague explanation as to why South American countries seem to do better than might reasonably be expected?

    Or am I spouting bollox?
