It’s ok playing virtual football manager in your head mate, but you need to take into account our transfer budget Which for us may be 1.5 - 2 million (if we sell Yates) wages and potential returns
Know we have a budget to work to but you don't chuck money away giving contracts to the likes of Jones, bringing players in like Adelukun who didn't bring anything to the side in league 1. He's not going to do in the championship either else he's be playing there for Bristol city.

Just because Bristol don't put him in their first team doesn't mean he isn't cship standard though.
They have different aspirations to us and will be picking a better standard of cship player that can get them into the playoffs. Those types of players will cost a lot more than Adelukun .

I completely agree mate but you can’t get rid of half your squad and expect to replace them with quality players with only 2 million, sometimes you just got to bite the bullet and try and get that last bit of mileage out of the player before chucking it to the scrap man.

Unless we buy Adelakun I wouldn’t to much risk with little reward, let’s say it takes him 6 games to get good city could just pull him back in January 👎

Accrington Stanley are looking to sign former Rotherham United winger Julien Lamy.

Be good for Lamy there. If Barton remains manager. He will go on ability.

Stand corrected! Be good for Lamy to kickstart his career.

Couldn’t it be equally as good for Adelekun to kickstart his career with us.

He had his chance after January, didn't take it. He's not all of a sudden going to be good enough.

I don't think Adelekun added a great deal to the team when he played but in fairness to him he never played in his strongest position on the right, he merely did a job on the left. He'd probably be decent back up to Ogbene on the right. Can apparently play down the middle too which we never got to see him do. I wouldn't write him off yet if he did come back.
