Bizarre. Not exactly an incentive not to take your grievance to court in flagrant breach of the association rules.

It's on a par with being caught smoking in a cinema and getting a fine of 20p

Or singing sectarian songs, letting off flares and your club gets landed with a fine of €7000 after repeated offences.

    Weird.

They may yet have to pay our legal costs.

    Here's hoping.

They've been relegated when they're was still a decent chance of staying up...do you not think that was a big enough book??

£2,500 each when they were claiming £10,000,000.

The size of the fines are 0.05% of what they are claiming.

The point Peter is not that they brought a challenge. They were entitled to by arbitration. The issue and the fine are because they went to court in breach of the rules.

If every football grievance went to court it would be expensive and cause chaos

Have to take issue with the “singing of sectarian songs” bit Stokie. The SFA dealt with that matter and issued a statement congratulating themselves on a job well done.

With a fine of that level they simply should not even have bothered. Hearts will probably launch an appeal against it.

You can bet a shed load of dollars that the process has cost the SPFL and others many times more than this so maybe the rumours of Doncaster sleeping with the two ladies in question are true.

Ridiculous fine, crazy process and really does show how Doncaster is out of control. The entire system needs overhauled but this will need everyone to sit down and restive it aiming 2 years ahead.

FFS over here I can get 2 years in prison for a misspelling or missing a comma in a simple advert. The level of disrepute they brought to the game is almost immeasurable so a hefty points deduction would have been appropriate.

This had absolutely nothing to do with him though, it was the SFA not the SPFL.
