    Statement from Hearts and Partick:

As a matter of urgency, we would like to clarify our position alongside Heart of Midlothian in relation to the role being played by Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers in our case against the SPFL.

Those clubs were named in the Petition, along with Stranraer, because they are the clubs most likely to be impacted by a decision in our favour. We are not, and have never been, in direct dispute with them.

The SPFL is opposing our Petition and will do so at the forthcoming arbitration. Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers were not therefore required to litigate or arbitrate against us. However, they chose to do so.

For the avoidance of doubt, we accept that was a choice they were fully entitled to make, no doubt having been fully advised of the risks and costs. We absolutely know and understand that was not a decision to be taken lightly.

This is not about two clubs, Hearts and Partick Thistle, battling against other member clubs. This is about these two clubs battling against the organisation, which is meant to look after all of our interests, and holding them accountable for their prejudicial actions. We would contend that any club in our position would be taking similar action.

However, encouraging clubs to fund anyone’s costs in this process could create further division. We consider such an approach to be at odds with the fundamental requirement of the SPFL rules that the SPFL and each club shall behave towards each other with the utmost good faith. We cannot therefore let that pass without comment.

Aye right, get to **** the pair of you!! Not liking that we have the support of most of the clubs, as opposed to yourselves. I see Falkirk have issued their statement already, not exactly unexpected but they can keep their thousand, doubt it will be missed that greatly. Sporting integrity still prevailing 😂

Total nonsense what the **** do they expect us to do? This shows we have rattled them and they know their actions are wrong or would have commented earlier. I think they know only a handful of clubs sympathise with them now. They are running scared - stupid cvnts

Any clubs who replicate what Falkirk have done are more than entitled to do so.

However, I'll be interested to read their statements if Hearts/Thistle are awarded Compo and it comes out of the clubs prize money...

They actually say "further division". Does this mean they acknowledge the division that their actions have caused already?
They are not happy about United asking other clubs for money....then demand £8 million in compensation for being sh1te all season.
Do they proof read before putting statements out?
I can't believe then anyone is still blind to the absolute poor old Hearts crap.

Got rid of their manager because he got them relegated, a contract clause. Then fight relegation whilst stealing another clubs manager.

Have a chairperson who thought a few years ago that 42 clubs in Scottish football is far too many...then this year want to add 2 to save Hearts from relegation.

Ask their staff to take pay cuts... then sign a new manager, having to pay compensation. Sign new players at a large cost.

Start legal proceedings against the spfl at huge cost, all the while staff are on reduced wages.

Having lost the case with the judge ordering Hearts to pay their own costs Plus half of the spfl's costs, all while staff on pay cuts.

Disgraceful actions from a club that cited sporting integrity.

Are they really that stupid (or, more likely, think fans are) that they don't know the SPFL IS all the clubs. Fkn idiots.

    Is chuckie really that deluded?

“As a matter of urgency, we would like to clarify our position in relation to the role being played by Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers in our case against the SPFL.“

Comprehensively delusional does not begin to sum that woman up. How much further down the cesspit of hypocrisy can she go. How she can continue to look a herself in the mirror each day and repeat the herself professed mantra that it all for the betterment of Scottish football Is beyond me. The devision in Scottish football all began and will end when hearts are relegated!
