    Hearts legal action

Does anyone know what the actual craic is with this??

Heard it said on here that hearts are not allowed to bring case against the spfl?

How are they bringing an action if that is correct.

Are they looking for a null and void or for a forced reconstruction. Hard to see how the latter of those can happen so are they going null and void.

The fixtures are coming out and so are they going to get an injunction to stop the league happening !?!!

Is this going to be in Scottish courts or court of arbitration for sport.

As lots of other countries and leagues have done similar to spfl I fail to see how hearts have any chance.

The French decision though seemed to give some reprieve for the relegated clubs.

    Answers on a postcard please.

Slightly worried if this affects United - surely not now though that we have invested and prepared for August start in the premiership

My thoughts are it will all fizzle away into nothing and this just their last stamp of the feet. The league will start on time so long as there is no deterioration of the coronavirus situation. They had to make a big statement for the fans but I suspect the protestations will dwindle as they have to face reality. Just my opinion of course.

Civil court they are looking for money. an 11-1 vote required to suspend them maybe? but not sure how that works. All rather embarrasing now as clear it was about hearts from start - id have more sympathy if budge said that and not "the greater good" nonsense. TV money, increased parachute payment. Difference between here and france is a democratic vote procedure (of which hearts approved) was used. Dont get me wrong they could drag this out for ages - maybe most they can get is they were unfairly relegated or maybe a clause or two has been breached - dunno. Wont affect us.

I'd probably put democratic in inverted commas but yep.

Thistle have now joined them in a joint legal fight after being gifted the funding for the entire cost of the legal case.

They'd be better off spending it on getting promoted next season

If I was defence lawyer I’d start with the 4 wins out of 30 😂
