    WTO Report

Doesn't mention PIF, doesn't mention NUFC, just says piracy was going on in Saudi and they didn't do enough to bring convictions against those doing it.
Bit like Joe Bloggs over here selling IPTV. For me there is now no excuse to delay this takeover any longer. In my opinion nothing in there to be able to block this takeover #cans

Fully agreed Geordie no matter how much the pro-qatar journos from the guardian and times try to twist it.

    Saudi statement on the findings.

P.S keep away from news from The Times, The Guardian, The Sun, The Mirror and journalists like Ben Jacobs, Dan Roan, Luke Edwards etc. They will put a negative spin on for you all to panic and click their clickbait.
Don't do it, this report is better than we all thought. They all have an agenda.

Piracy is rife in this country - games on and even advertised in pubs for Saturday at 3:00pm, dodgy boxes on people’s TV’s at home, apps & sites on phones & tablets etc. Presumably it’s the same in virtually every other country as well.

the WTO is a toothless organisation set up by all the signed up countries to set tariffs . When there is trade dispute the WTO formulate a report which the 2 countries use to settle the dispute. However the wto cannot enforse any punishment only all the members can but to get to an agreement and inforce usually takes years

this has obviously been delayed by the Prem so they can get some sort of agreement with the Saudi's over the piracy.
The fit and proper persons test is for individuals that are going to be on the board of directors. No evidence at all proving any of the potential board members are involved with the piracy thing.

The PL want shot with shit for this. Either they were waiting for the report's publication to make their ruling-in which case there's absolutely NO justification for the delay now or the delay is nothing to do with the report in which case they are just taking the piss by taking their time. Not a chance this would still be going on if it was one og the 'big' boys with friends in high places.

And if you read that and think I'm being paranoid, are you really suggesting that there is NO corruption in the upper echelons of football in this country...or is that just the sort of thing that happens in other countries?

Granted there has been a delay. We all accept that. I don't think its delayed as much as people say though.
It gets mentioned a lot on here, Shiek Mansour takeover at Man City took 23 days. That was one man. So just over 3 weeks to do checks on 1 man. Since then the OD test is more strict.
So if it takes 3-4 weeks for just one man, how long does it take to do checks on Staveley, the Rueben brothers and PIF. Let's just say that is 4 people for arguments sake. It is obvious its going to take a lot longer.
In my opinion every hurdle thrown at them has been overcome and surely now we are nearly there.
