Thread: In what League Two position will Barrow finish next season?

In what League Two position will Barrow finish next season?

I reckon that a lot of League Two clubs will have financial problems next season. Barrow will have lesser problems than some of them.

I reckon that Barrow will finish 15th, not seriously troubled at any time by relegation worries.

Since we have to spend on average £250,000 every season to keep Brunton Park compliant to the rules and we have a debt to EWM of £2.5 million I expect that the playing / training staff budget will be parsimonious.

Although some National League champions have struggled in League Two it is much more often the case that they do well. I can envisage that a Barrow with everyone in the club being a totally united force, they could finish above a problem-burdened Carlisle United which is not a united force.

I remember Barrow in the league last time around. One of our fans made the trip knowing he had no way back for an evening game, he ended up walking the streets all night till the transport started.

Barrow are like Macc, they will always struggle. Id say 20th.
