We will face Northampton again next season! I expect Exeter will release a few players from an aging first team squad. Any that we would want? The no.5?

Northampton may have won, but I’d sooner take a player from Exeter as their way of playing is rather similar to ours than the Pulis -style Hoofball favoured by the Cobblers - effective but not pretty to watch.

Aaron Martin has been released by Exeter. Think he would do a good job for us as CH.

Almost 31, Martin has played for a lot of clubs, having his contract nullified twice in that time. However, he made 58 appearances for Exeter and scored 5 goals. Maybe. One drawback, he is a southern guy and maybe late in his career doesn't want to move up here. Also, not sure what kind of wages he was on!!

Northampton have released 8 players, including a couple of first team regulars..... they had a very big squad so if one of them’s a CB.....

Looks like we’ll be welcoming Joey Barton to the fun palace next season

The Northampton CH - Turnbull - looked solid versus Cheltenham. 25 years old and one of the released players. Is he League One standard?

Fleetwood were awful. Dodgy goalkeeper and hilarious cameo from Madden. Blatant dive when his arm brushed Charles'. The Fleetwood penalty was just as soft. Not the biggest fan of Wycombe. I had tagged them as long ball merchants but they played a lot to feet last night. Barton surprisingly kept his cool watching Fleetwood's horror show. Surely he will be bringing his side to Gresty Road next season.

Fleetwood looked far better in the 2nd leg, but it is Wycombe versus Oxford Utd in the final. Surely Oxford are favourites?

Thought Anthony Stewart looked good again alongside Darius Charles. When he joined us briefly in League One, Stewart did not look out of place and was certainly worth signing. Still not sure why he did not sign permanently unless it was down to money (wages and a fee)?
