I dont know the correct answer myself, but i have to ask where the money comes from to pay the compo that Hearts n co are claiming?

I can only think that 40 clubs will be expected to put their hand in pocket and hand over £250k each, and how many clubs including our own can afford that right now? Just now, 2 leagues dont know when they are starting, the Championship has an October start date, so does the liability now fall on the top 12? There lies the reason that this may just become the ruin of, not just us, but for the majority of Scottish football!

Meanwhile here's one of your lot talking about Shankland...

"Maybe but the post COVID 19 football world is going to be very unstable, a fee of £1.2m seems realistic but with upwards of a third going to the player and a considerable amount to Ayr, the bottom line may not look so healthy. Mind you £300,000 to £400,000 when you are skint is tempting. Also a loss of £3.7m for a provincial club will never be recovered by a provincial team playing in the SPFL, the revenue just isn’t there"

An incredible insight into football finance. He even knows the fee we're going to get.
Except he came from Ayr on a free so Ayr will not see a penny.
Looks like you taught Spirit of '62 all you can Peter!

They can't if they have no finances, with 1000 or so season tickets sold they have to moan about us, one even claimed to have hidden tickets his kid brought home, free tickets given away to schoolkids by Utd.
Not thrown out either but hidden down back of couch he admitted, along with lads mags I'd imagine,
Dees suffering from lack of action in all sorts of ways imo

It's all they've got left. Can't match DUFC on the field of play so looking at imaginary financial figures at Tannadice and telling each other things are dire on the bright side of Tannadice Street keeps them going. They've nothing else.

That's a belter. 😂😂 Notice he's been pulled up about it by one of his own. Looking forward to reading his response.

Stoke is right. United didn't pay Dundee compensation for Jim McLean coming to Tannadice.

Ah. Right. I tend to ignore those emoji things. Not proper English, in my opinion!
