    All this time

With no football, this forum is full of political and viral rhetoric, yet with football about to restart in less than 15 minutes after a three month break, its been as dead as a door nail for a few days. Odd to say the least.

I can't help feeling that if Dominic Cummings had been appointed referee for today's game, the place would be ablaze with comment.

Or are we all hanging around the streets of Bermondsey looking for a costermonger to pick a scrap with?

Imagine so...would be a tad unusual to have the PM’s chief aide refereeing Millwall v Derby, especially with his dodgy eyesight.

Indeed, but there’s nothing wrong with my eyesight and seeing as you’re after a football comment...I’d say Brentford look more than useful.

Indeed again. First goal was excellent.

If we ever get back to normal and the threat of a points deduction is removed our youngsters, led by the likes of Rooney and one or two others - including the acquisition of a decent ‘keeper - make me optimistic about next season.

Just seen his second...another neat move and fine finish...impressed!

Hmmm...nor sure how being ‘optimistic’ about next season translates to being ‘gloomy’?

RA I still have not seen anything of the match at all . I had to drive to Poole yesterday to the RNLI headquarters to deliver some parts . So me and the wife made a day of it Not at all surprised at Sibley I've followed his career for a long time Just work on his temperament such can be a bit suspect , then we have a gem
