Elvis is really having a go. He painting a picture that everything is rosey at hearts and not so at Utd. He raising concerns about our financial standing and the possibility that we will mothball our academy due to these financial restraints in the long term. Is it me or is every chunt connected to that cesspit of a club gunning for us!

I hope to pluck that hearts relegation stands and they remain down there for many years to come.

Elvis always pops up to keep himself relevant up here even though he bad mouths pretty much everyone apart from old firm and his beloved hearts. Has the very very very high opinion of himself but has nothing to back it up with. He hasnt been a success anywhere he has been. Seems to have a greater knowledge of the ins and outs of united's finance's than he has managerial knowledge.

he should be touting himself for jobs up here to get a reputation back but instead acts the complete fool

One of the best managers in our history and one of my favs in my time, that whole six years Houston was here first as assistant then manager was nearly all positive

He done a great job at Falkirk but they kept cutting and cutting the budget every year, would have got Falkirk promoted at any other period as winners, by time we went down and beat them in the play off (despite them finishing above us) they are on the wane but the two seasons before that, he got them to the Scottish Cup final, albeit finished behind Hearts, Hibs and Sevco in league, following season finished second behind Sevco ahead of Hibs on 70pts (more than a few league winners over the years) and beat hibs in the playoffs before losing out to a fresher Killie a few days later

He is a winner and gets players playing for him, he also always has a go, when he was with we were difficult to beat home or away

    We could do worse
He was a winner until the going got tough, then he bailed. He bailed on us, citing being unable to work with cost cutting measures, ie playing kids, which McNamara made a fool of, given the football we played the following year, and he bailed on Falkirk after his first winless streak with them, 7 games without a win.

Things ain't gonna be easy next season. We don't need a bottler. We need someone who can drag us through the **** when we're up against it.

I might be alone in this opinion but i didn't rate Houston much at united!? love him for what he done but once Levein's team started to separate he seemed to sign more erratically. he never seemed to replace like for like which caused problems for when he wanted to play the same way. he was still a good manager and did sign some decent players. Did a good job at Falkirk until he stayed there too long (similar to what happened at united)

What about Darren Young? Done a decent job in the lower leagues, not scared to have a go at teams

Found it a bit strange talking up Hearts finances as much as he was. Totally ignoring relegation.
